Kelly’s twin sister and aunt to Chris, Kathy, joins TBTPNL to talk about how a blank piece of paper or cardboard is transformed to a printed document, box for packaging and more. Using a comparison of making a cake, Kathy gives a great overview of what goes on behind the scenes in the printing and packaging world and the embellishments along the way. “Cake is the item you want to print, frosting is what you put on it and sprinkles give that extra zest.” Hotel keycard holders and pizza boxes are just two examples discussed.
